Day 1 Vancouver -Singapore
Depart Vancouver for Singapore with Singapore Airlines.
Day 2 Singapore
Arrive Singapore. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 3 Singapore - Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Arrival in Kota Kinabalu, meet and proceed to Coral Island jetty for island tour with packed lunch. Return to Kota Kinabalu city in the afternoon, transfer to hotel of your choice. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4 Kota Kinabalu (B/L)
Depart Northbound on a two hour drive to Kinabalu Park, elevation 5000 feet above sea level. Opportunities to see native villages, handicraft stalls, rubber plantations and fruit orchards along the route. Upon reaching the Park, join a trail walk and visit the Mountain Garden. Learn about the rich flora and fauna at the Park's Exhibit Centre. Lunch is included. Late afternoon, depart for Kota Kinabalu.
Day 5 Kota Kinabalu ¡V Miri (B/-/D)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Miri and onward to Mulu. Upon arrival in Mulu, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon depart for a visit Deer Caves and Lang Caves. Return to resort for dinner.
Day 6 Miri ¡V Kuching (B/L)
Depart for a visit to Wind Caves and Clear Water Caves, with lunch. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Miri and onward flight to Kuching. On arrival in Kuching, transfer to hotel.
Note: Please prepare an overnight bag for the Jungle Excursion tomorrow, taking with you essential personal items for the trip. It is not advisable to carry your big suitcase for this overnight tour.
Day 7 Kuching ¡V Lemanak River (B/L/D)
Meet the natives of Borneo and spend an unforgettable night with them in the longhouse. The journey takes you 250-km into beautiful countryside, with scenic stops along the way. On arrival at the jetty, board native longboats and head up the river to meet the Ibans. On arrival at the longhouse, you will be taken on a tour of the longhouse to meet the natives and their families. After dinner, join the Ibans activities in the longhouse. Don't leave without tasting their rice wine ¡§tuak¡¨. Overnight in the longhouse/guesthouse.
Day 8 Lemanak River ¡V Kuching (B/L)
The cockerels will sing loud and clear for you to wake up in the morning. After breakfast, join the Ibans in a blowpipe demonstration to show off their skill. Then return to your hotel in Kuching, with lunch enroute.
Day 9 Kuching ¡V Singapore (B)
Free at leisure until departure transfer to airport.
Arrives Singapore, meet and transfer to the hotel.
Day 10 Singapore (B)
Half-day City Experience tour. Afternoon free for leisure.
Day 11 Singapore (B)
Free for leisure.
Day 12 Singapore ¡V Vancouver (B)
Free at leisure until departure transfer to airport for flight back to Vancouver.
