Itinerary
6 April Vancouver - Beijing
Depart Canada to Beijing. AC29 1230/1450+1
7 April Arrive Beijing (-/-/SD)
Arrive and transfer to Jinglun Hotel - Welcome dinner at the Yanchunyuan Restaurant , which is within the Longtanhu Park.
8 April Beijing (B/L/SD)
Full day city tour visit Tian Anmen Square and the Forbidden City (Qianlong Garden is subject to availability). After lunch, we will spend the whole afternoon at the Fragrant Hills. Evening Peking duck dinner.
9 April Beijing(B/L/D)
Full day tour to the Beijing Botanical Garden then the Summer Palace. Pearl shop afterwards.
10 April Beijing - Xian HU7882 1710/1900 (B/L/D)
Day tour to Jade factory, Sacred Way and lunch. Then visit to the Badaling Great Wall . After the tour, transfer to the airport for flight to Xian. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to Xian Garden Hotel. Remarks: this hotel is garden style and quiet. Clients can receive international TV programmes in the rooms.
11 April Xian (B/L/SD)
Full day excursion to the Terra Cotta Warriors. Evening enjoy a Dumpling Dinner with Tang Dynasty Show.
12 April Xian - Luoyang K618 1533/2033 (B/L/D)
Morning visit the Ancient City Wall & Big Wild Goose Pagoda, 64 meters high and built around 700 AD. After lunch, transfer to railway station for train to Luoyang. Upon arrival, transfer to Luoyang Yaxiang Jinling Hotel (4-star plus).
13 April Luoyang (B/SL/-)
Half day tour to the Longmen Grottoes and then soup lunch. Afternoon free at leisure.
14 April Luoyang - Peony Festival (B/L/-)
Morning visit to the White Horse Temple and the Peony Festival. After lunch, free at leisure.
15 April Coach Luoyang - Zhengzhou - Shanghai. MU5394 1330/1455 Coach Shanghai-Suzhou (B/L/D)
Morning transfer to Zhengzhou for flight to Shanghai, coach to Suzhou and check in the Bamboo Grove Hotel.
16 April Suzhou (B/L/D)
Full day tour to the Tiger Hill, Silk Factory , cruise on the Grand Canal and the Garden of Net Master.
17 April Suzhou (B/L/D)
Full day tour includes the Garden of Harmony (same as the Garden of Pleasance), Tingfeng Garden, Suzhou Museum by I.M. Pei, Garden of Humble Administrator . Join the Suzhou Travel Festival if it is available (fee not included, on own expenses).
18 April Coach Suzhou - Shanghai (B/L/D)
Drive to Shanghai in early morning. Then lunch and check in the Shanghai Broadway Mansion Hotel. In the afternoon, visit to the Shanghai Museum with English-orientation. After dinner, watch the Shanghai Acrobatic show.
19 April Shanghai (B/SL/SD)
Yu Yuan Garden, one of China's most famous scholar gardens built in 1559 and then plenty of time to shop in the area just outside the garden (the old town area), then dim-sum lunch at Lubolang Restaurant. Visit the Bund and back to hotel until farewell dinner at the Haoyanlou Restaurant (close to Jade Buddha Temple, Shanghai & Cantonese cuisines).
20 April Shanghai - Canada (B/-/-)
