Itinerary
Day 01 Canada (Vancouver) - Beijing Depart from your home city to Beijing.
Day 02 Beijing Arrive Beijing. Meet and transfer to hotel.
Day 03 Beijing (B/L/D) Full day tour including Tian'anmen Square and the largest Imperial Palace in the world - the Forbidden City. After lunch approach to the largest imperial garden in the world, the elegant Summer Palace including cruise on the shimmering waters of Kunming Lake. Then visit Temple of Heaven before Cultural shows.
Day 04 Beijing (B/L/D) Full day tour including Great Wall Badaling and walk along its ramparts for breathtaking view of the largest manpower project in ancient. After that we approach to the mountain valley of the best geomancy site - the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tomb including visit the Sacred Way. Drive by the Olympic venues (Bird's Nest & Water Cube) for photo stop.
Day 05 Beijing - Xi'Ning (B/L/D) Morning flight to Xi'Ning. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. Afternoon city tour including excursion tour to Kimblum (Taer) Lamasery-the home of the major religion of Yellow temple in Tibet.
Day 06 Xi'Ning - Holly Express Train (B/L/D) Morning visit the Provincial Museum, then tour the Residence of General Ma Bufang - a warlord in the 1940's, and the Great Mosque with over 600 years of history. Board the Express train in the evening for Lhasa.
Day 07 Lhasa (B/L/D) You will be called for the early morning Sun Raising on the train. It gives great breathtaking pictures just like you are traveling in the sky-space. The Sun is in fire red in the sky and the sky beneath the sun is in orange and above the sun is in deep blue and dark color. All the land surrounding is still in dark as an unbelievable seeing. Refer to article "Supremacy and Paramountcy - Briefs along the trail on Holy Roll". Pass the Scenery of Kunlum Mountain, the scenery viewing stop at Headstream of Yangtze River of Kekexili. The scenery of Nachu Or Damshung, Northern Tibet. Arrive Lhasa in the late afternoon. Check in and dinner at hotel.
Day 08 Lhasa (B/L/D) Morning visit Norbuglinkha (the Jewel Park and Summer Palace for Dalai Lhama - It is a big courtyard planted with many trees with lakes and pavilions, beneath the trees, the fresh airs led the holy monks to realize and arouse the further understanding of philosophy. Afternoon visit Potala Palace - the UNESCO world heritage sites. Enjoy dinner and Tibet Culture Dance Show at night.
Day 09 Lhasa (B/L/D) Morning visit the golden-roofed Jokhank (Dazao) Monastery - Tibet's holiest shrine. After lunch trolling and shopping along the Barskhor Street - a Tibetan Bazaar, and pilgrim circuit area. Visit Sera Monastery before dinner.
Day 10 Lhasa - Chengdu (B/L/D) Transfer to airport for flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, half-day excursion to Dujiangyan the Ancient Dam / Magic Water Control stytem. Check in at hotel for overnight.
Day 11 Chengdu (B/L/D) Visit Giant Panda Breeding Center where you will see the lovely creature up close and learn its habitat and evolution. Then visit Sanxingdui Museum - A great discovery excavation for the whole nation after terra-cotta warriors in the 20 years. If time available visit Local Tea House, Pavilion of River View Garden.
Day 12 Chengdu - Shanghai (B) Upon arrival in Shanghai transfer to hotel and remains free at leisure.
Day 13 Shanghai (B/L/D) Full day sightseeing tour including the Bund, Yu Garden - built 400 years ago, a famous private garden with architectures of Ming & Qing dynasties. After lunch visit Shanghai Museum and People Square. Enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show.
Day 14 Shanghai (B/L) Morning excursion to Zhujiajiao, a famous river town near Shanghai. After lunch return back to the city and visit Jade Buddha Temple. Evening free for leisure.
Day 15 Shanghai - Canada (B) Leisure and departure transfer to airport for homeward flight. End of tour.
