Day 01  Depart Home City (Canada) – Taipei    

Depart from your home city to Hanoi via Taipei with China Airlines.

Day 02  Taipei – Hanoi                                 

Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to hotel for check in (Hotel check in time – 2PM).

Day 03  Hanoi – Halong Bay                                                                                       (B/L)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Ho Chi Minh’s former residence and Mausoleum (the Mausoleum closed during Oct – Nov), the One Pillar Pagoda & the Temple of Literature.  Enjoy a 1 hour cyclo ride through the Old Quarter past the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple to a local restaurant for lunch.  After lunch visit History Museum and drive to Halong Bay (165 km east of Hanoi) for overnight. Check in at the hotel and dinner on your own expense.

Day 04  Halong Bay – Hanoi                                                                                      (B/L)

Enjoy a relaxing 4 hours boar trip through Halong Bay with fresh seafood fingertips served on board.  Cruise around the islands, relaxing and swimmering before returning to Hanoi.  Evening enjoy a water puppetry show – a traditional Vietnamese art from dating back to the 11^th century.

Day 05  Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An                                                                           (B/-/D)

At leisure until transfer to the airport for flight to Danang.  Upon arrival drive south past famous China Beach onto Hoi An.  Hoi An was one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16^th century.  Take a walking tour & visit 300-year-old Tan Ky and Phuc Kien houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An Market.  Soak up the atmosphere of these narrow streets before dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 06  Hoi An – Danang – Hue                                                                                                (B/L) 

Start the journey to Hue, en route visit Marble Mountain with great view of the surrounding area and Cham Museum in Danang.  Lunch at local restaurant and continue to Hue over the spectacular Hai Van Pass.  Have a short stop on top of the pass – once regarded as the prime mountain pass on the North-South national road.  Arrives Hue and check in hotel for overnight.

Day 07  Hue – Ho Chi Minh City                                                                                                (B/L)

Boat trip on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda, the Imperial Citadel of Hue and Dong Ba Market.  Lunch at local restaurant and then continue to visit Tu Duc Mausoleum.  Transfer to the airport in the late afternoon for flight to Ho Chi Minh City.  Transfer to the hotel for overnight.

Day 08  Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City                   (B/L)

Morning drive to Cu Chi district (75 km from HCMC) and visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels at Cu Chi. There are more than 200km of underground.  You have the chance to crawl through this amazing system of tunnels before returning to Saigon for lunch.  Afternoon orientation by foot from the Saigon River past the Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Post Office.  Also visit Reunification Palace and finish the tour at the famus Ben Thanh Market.

Day 09  Ho Chi Minh City – Phnom Penh                                                                               (B/L)

Leisure time in the morning before transfer to the airport for flight to Phnom Penh.  Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in and lunch.  Afternoon city tour including to visit the Independence Monument; the National Museum; the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda.  Visit the Wat Phnom Temple for sunset.

Day 10  Phnom Penh – Siem Reap                                                                            (B/L)

After breakfast transfer to the airport and fly to Siem Reap.  Upon arrival visit Victory Gate – the twin temples of Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda and Ta Prohm.  Continue to visit Banteay Kdei and Srah Srang.  After lunch visit the North Gate of Angkor Thom and Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake. Enjoy Angkor Wat for sunset.

Day 11  Siem Reap                                                                                                           (B/L)

Optional early birds tour – Sunrise from Phnom Bakheng or Srah Srang.

After breakfast visit the most famous temples on the plain of Angkor – Angkor Wat.  The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing.  Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks – the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond.  Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12^th century), the Byron Temple, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.

Enjoy a relaxing 1 hour Reflexology Massage by Body Tune. After Lunch, visit Preah Khan temple, Neak Pean Ta Som, Mebon Oriental. Visit Pre Rup until sunset.

Day 12  Siem Reap – Phom Penh – Taipei – Canada                                         (B)

Free time in the morning until transfer to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City.  Upon arrival, transit for flight to Taipei and connecting your homeward flight.
