Day 1 Canada – Hong Kong
Depart Canada to Bangkok via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific.
Day 2 Hong Kong – Bangkok
Arrive Bangkok. Meet and transfer to Tawana Bangkok or similar.
Day 3 Bangkok (B)
Morning Grand Palace & Wat Po tour. Afternoon free for leisure.
Day 4 Bangkok – River Kwai (B/L/D)
Morning visit Floating Market. Afternoon visit Tiger Temple. Overnight at River Kwai Village Hotel in “Raft Room”.
Day 5 River Kwai – Bangkok – Chiang Mai (B/L)
Morning Death Railway Train. After lunch, transfer back to Bangkok for overnight train to Chiang Mai. (1st class sleeping berth)
Day 6 Chiang Mai (B/L/D)
Transfer to Empress Hotel or similar to refresh. Afternoon Chiang Mai city tour with home industries visit. Dinner with traditional dance at night.
Day 7 Chiang Mai (B/L)
Visit Long Neck Karen at Thaton with boat ride. Lunch at local restaurant.
Day 8 Chiang Mai (B/L)
Full day Cooking Class with market visit. Free time in the evening for night market visit.
Day 9 Chiang Mai – Phuket (B)
Flight to Phuket. Meet and transfer to Royal Paradise Resort or similar.
Day 10 Phuket – Khao Sok (B/L/D)
Early morning transfer to the largest tropical rain forest in Thailand – Khao Sok National Park. Explore the rivers through the mangrove forest with outboard motor (speed cat). Lunch on the Burmese junk with local Thai food. Spend the afternoon on a deserted beach, swim and relax. Overnight at the African style deluxe tent – Elephant Hills Resort.
Day 11 Khao Sok – Phuket (B/L)
Visit Elephant camp and trekking on elephant back. After lunch, enjoy the jungle river canoe trip down the Sok River. Transfer back to Phuket in late afternoon and free for your own time in the evening.
Day 12 Phuket (B)
Free for leisure.
Day 13 Phuket – Hong Kong – Canada (B)
Transfer to airport for flight to Hong Kong then connect flight back to Canada.
