East Java and Bali Adventure

Day 1          Canada (Vancouver) – Hong Kong

Depart Vancouver to Hong Kong for connection to Surabaya on Cathay Pacific Airways.

Day 2             Hong Kong – Surabaya

Upon arrival in Surabaya, meet and transfer to hotel. (Hotel Singgasana)

Day 3             Surabaya – Mt. Bromo                                                     (B)

Breakfast will be served by hotel. Today we will leave the capital city of East Java Province for Mt. Bromo to see the spectacular one of the best sunrises in the world at Mt. Bromo tomorrow morning. On the way, sightseeing along of the city, visit the traditional market and visit the cigarette factory & gallery (if it’s open) to see the making of national local brand cigarette. Arrive at Bromo late afternoon. (Hotel Bromo Cottages) 

Day 4            Mt. Bromo – Kalibaru                                                        (B)

The adventure will be started at 4:00AM to the still active Mt. Bromo by pony rides and cross the sand sea at Ngadisari to witness the most beautiful sunrise in the world. After enjoying the sunrise and magnificent view surrounding MT. Bromo, return to hotel for breakfast. Have a short rest after Bromo excursion. Next proceed to Kalibaru - well-known for its coffee, cocoa, pepper, vanilla & clove plantation. Enroute enjoy the panoramic of sugar cane estate and passing Jember city popular as the city of tobacco. Before arriving at Kalibaru we still could visit the elementary school (except Sunday) you can see closer & observe how the educational system running for the elementary school. Arrive at Kalibaru late afternoon. (Hotel Kalibaru Cottages) 

Day 5            Kailbaru - Bali                                                                   (B)

Before crossing Bali strait, the guide will take you to the spices plantations in Kalibaru. You can get a wonderful experience to see the various of Indonesian’s spices grow-well in Kalibaru. Crossing Bali strait with ferry & passing Bali National Park and visit Rambut Siwi temple, a welcome temple at the south of Bali. Arrive at Kuta late afternoon. (Hotel Patra Jasa Bali) 

Day 6            Bali                                                                                     (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today is a leisure day. You can relax at hotel or spend the times at surrounding. (Hotel Patra Jasa Bali)

Day 7            Bali                                                                                     (B)

Breakfast at hotel. This tour is dedicated to the artists of Bali. Bali is famous for it’s traditional dances. One of them is the Barong & Kris Dance, that will let you enjoy the skillful Balinese dancers, before we continue to visit talented Balinese artists: A silversmith at Celuk and a woodcarver at Mas, both in their traditional workshops. The journey proceeds to view on the beautiful Lake Batur and active Mount Batur Volcano where you will have an opportunity to take a rest. Next destination is the Holy Spring at Tampaksiring called “The Fountain Of Youth”. (Hotel Patra Jasa Bali)         

Day 8             Bali                                                                                    (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Bali Eastern part is dominated by the presence of towering Mount Agung (3142 meters), Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano that last erupted in 1963. Built on one of the volcano’s slopes, the Besakih Temple Complex is the most important temple and pinnacle of the sacred to the Balinese Hindu population, also called the “Mother Temple”. At Bukit Jambul, we stopover for a refreshing view over the valley and an opportunity to take a rest. On the route through the East of Bali, we take you to discover the traditional village Penglipuran and see a different social community structure and layout of that village, dated back to the 16^th century and founded by the Kehen Kingdom. On the way back we will visit the Hall Of Justice  “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung. (Hotel Patra Jasa Bali)

Day 9            Bali                                                                                    (B)

Breakfast at hotel. This tour is specially designed to simplify your shopping. Look for some handcrafted souvenirs to bring home without any hassle about transport, price and quality. Batubulan Village is renowned for the stone carving art. The most famous artists of silver and gold crafts are found in Celuk village. Who is keen for woodcarving should definitely have a closer look at artist work in the village Mas before we reach Ubud, which is famous for it’s painting galleries featuring masterpieces in traditional and modern style. On top of that we will visit Monkey Forest in the heart of Ubud city. To see the tame of monkeys which the forest has been there centuries ago. (Hotel Patra Jasa Bali)              

Day 10 -12            Bali                                                                          (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today is a leisure day. You can relax at hotel or spend the times at surrounding. (Hotel Patra Jasa Bali)         

Day 13                   Bali – Hong Kong                                                   (B)

Breakfast at hotel. The guide will pick you up at hotel for transferring you to the Denpasar airport. 

Day 14                   Hong Kong – Vancouver
