Day 01    Vancouver – Beijing
Depart from your home city to Beijing via Shanghai

Day 02    Beijing
Arrive Beijing. Meet and greet then transfer to hotel.

Day 03    Beijing (B/L)
Full day tour including Tian’anmen Square and the largest Imperial Palace in the world – the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace with Lunch.

Day 04    Beijing (B/L)
Full day tour including visit the Shaolin Kungfu Training School (or Scared Way), Great Wall. Photo stop at the Bird Nest and Water Cube. Jade Workshop visit en-route.

Day 05    Beijing – Xian (B/L)
Take later morning flight to Xian – the ancient capital over 1100 years. Afternoon sightseeing tour including to the Grand Mosque, Muslim Street and the Bell Tower.

Day 06    Xian (B/L/SD)
Full day excursion tour to the famous UNESCO site of Qin Terracotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots, watching the archaeologists are continuing on the fields for further excavation. After lunch visit the Ceramics & Pottery Center. Evening enjoy dumpling dinner & Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 07   Xian – Dunhuang (B)
Free for leisure until transfer to the airport for the flight to Dunhuang. Meet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 08   Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Fall day tour, visit Mogao Grottoes, Sounding Dune and Cresent Lake with Camel ride. If time permits, visit a near local village.

Day 09   Dunhuang – Turpan (B/L/D)
Excursion to Yumen Pass, back to Dunhuang and visit the Dunhuang Museum, after dinner transfer to the train station for overnight train to Turpan.

Day 10   Turpan (B/L/D)
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel for check-in and breakfast. After visit the Grape Valley, the Karez Irrigation System and the Jiaohe Anicent Ruins at sunset. Dinner and Uygur minority dancing and singing performance at the hotel.

Day 11   Turpan – Urumqi (B/L/D)
Morning tour to the Emin Minerat, Bezklik Thousand Buddha Caves and the Flaming Mountain. Lunch at a Uygur family. Travel back to Urumqi and the hotel.

Day 12   Urumqi (B/L/D)
Excursion to the Heavenly Lake with a cruise, then visit a Kazakh family at a pasture nearby and Xinjiang Museum.

Day 13   Urumqi – Kashgar (B/L/SD)
Transfer to airport for the flight to Kashgar. Upon arrival, meet at airport and visit the Kashgari Tomb and the Id Kah Mosque.

Day 14   Kashgar – Urumqi (B/L/D)
Visit the Sunday Bazaar and the Kashgar old town including a home visit to a Uygur family. Evening flight to Urumqi. Meet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15   Urumqi – Shanghai (B)
Fly to Shanghai, meet and transfer to the hotel. Free for leisure for the rest of the day. Optional tour available

Day 16   Shanghai (B/L)
Full day sightseeing tour including Yu Garden – built 400 years ago, a famous private garden with architectures of Ming and Qing dynasties. After lunch visit Shanghai Museum, Xintiandi Area and The Bund.

Day 17   Shanghai – Canada (B)
Leisure and departure transfer to airport for homeward flight. End of tour.

     On Train – 1 night on the train (4 people sharing a cabin with 4 soft berths)
