Day 01   Canada – Beijing
Depart from your home city to Beijing.

Day 02   Beijing               
Arrive Beijing. Meet and transfer to hotel. Visit Temple of Heaven (if time permitted).

Day 03   Beijing                                                                  (B/L)
Full day tour to visit Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Summer Palace.

Day 04   Beijing                                                                  (B/L)
Full day tour including Great Wall Badaling and walk along its ramparts for breathtaking view of one of the largest manpower project in ancient times.  After that we approach to the mountain valley of the best geomancy site – the Ming Dynasty Imperial Tomb including visit the Sacred Way.

Day 05   Beijing                                                                  (B/L)
Transfer to the airport for flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Free for the rest of day to acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight in Lhasa.

Day 06   Beijing - Lhasa                                                     (B/L)
Full day tour to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street and Sera Monastery.

Day 07   Lhasa – Shigatse                                                 (B/L)
Depart via Yamdrok Lake to Gyangtse. Followed with a short visit to a Tibetan Family. Visit Palkhor Monastery. Continue to Shigatse. Shigatse is an ancient cultural city dates back more than 500 years ago.

Day 08   Shigatse - Lhasa                                                  (B/L)
Full day visit the New Palace of Panchen Lama  and Tashilumpo Monastry. The monastery was first built in 1447 by Gedun Truppa, subsequently honored as the first Dalai Lama. Take a 5 hours drive back to Lhasa for overnight.

Day 09   Lhasa – Xining                                                     (B)
Take a morning train to Xining (26 hours- soft sleeper).

Day 10   Xining                                                                   (B/L)
Arrive in Xining in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Then visit Taer Monastery.

Day 11   Xining                                                                   (B/L)
Full day visit Qinghai Lake, Sun and Moon Mountain, Daotang River (flowing back river), and Golden and Silver Meadow.

Day 12   Xining – Xian                                                       (B/L)
Morning visit Qinghai Museum. Then transfer to the airport to the flight to Xian. Meet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13   Xian                                                                      (B/L)
Full day excursion tour to the famous UNESCO site of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors & Bronze Chariots, watching the archaeologists are continuing on the fields for further excavation. Then visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient City Wall. Overnight in Xian.

Day 14   Xian – Chongqing                                                (B/L)
Morning visit the Grand Mosque then transfer to the airport for the flight to Chongqing. Afternoon Chongqing city tour before transfer to the hotel.

Day 15   Chongqing – Yangtze River Cruise                    (B/L)
Morning drive to Dazu, visit the Dazu Grottoes including the North Cliff of Rock Sculpture and the Baoding Carvings. Return to Chongqing and embark onto the Yangtze River Cruise in the evening.

Day 16   Yangtze River Cruise                                         (B/L/D)
Shore excursion at Fengdu (Ghost City) where reveals ancient Chinese religion and legends with their imaged constructions and the ghost statues for people lucky praying.  Also have a glimpse of the new settlement town by the relocation of the new dam construction.  Return back the boat and continue sailing.

Day 17   Yangtze River Cruise                                        (B/L/D)
Excursion to White Emperor City. Passing Qutang Gorge and Wuxia Gorge. Boat excursion to Shennong Stream. Sail through 5-stages shiplock. Overnight onboard.

Day 18   Yichang - Shanghai                                           (B/L)
Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam site. Passing Xiling Gorge. Chinese lunch onboard before disembarkation. Disembarkation at Yichang then fly to Shanghai. Meet and transfer to hotel.

Day 19   Shanghai                                                            (B/L)
Full day sightseeing tour including Yu Garden – built 400 years ago, a famous private garden with architectures of Ming & Qing dynasties.  After visit Jade Buddha Temple, The Bund. Stroll along Nangjing Road to test your bargaining skills.

Day 20   Shanghai                                                            (B)
Free for leisure to explore the city of Shanghai.

Day 21   Shanghai – Canada                                           (B)
Free until the transfer to airport for homeward flight.  End of tour.
