Day 01   Canada – Beijing

Depart from your home city to Beijing.

Day 02   Beijing                

Arrive Beijing. Meet and transfer to hotel.

Day 03   Beijing                                                                  (B/L)

Full day tour including Temple of Heaven, Tian’anmen Square and the largest Imperial Palace in the world – the Forbidden City. Summer Palace and Pearl workshop visit en-route.

Day 04   Beijing                                                                  (B/L)

Full day visit to the Shaolin Kungfu Training School (or Sacred Way), and Great Wall (Badaling section). Photo stop at the Bird Nest and Water Cube if time permit. Jade Workshop visit en-route.

Day 05   Beijing – Xian                                                        (B/L)

Morning fly to Xian. Meet and transfer for lunch. Visit the Grand Mosque, Muslim Street and the Bell Tower.

Day 06   Xian                                                                       (B/L/TD)

Full day excursion tour to the famous UNESCO site of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors & Horses and City Wall, watching the archaeologists are continuing on the fields for further excavation.  After lunch visit the Ceramics & Pottery Center.  Evening enjoy a Tang Dynasty Show with dinner.

Day 07   Xian – Chongqing (on cruise)                                  (B/L/D)

Fly to Chongqing and visit the Panda Zoo and transfer to the pier to embark MV President No. 1 Cruise.

Day 08   Yangtze River Cruise                                        (B/L/D)

Shore excursion at Fengdu (Ghost City) where reveals ancient Chinese religion and legends with their imaged constructions and the ghost statures for people lucky praying.  Also have a glimpse of the new settlement town by the relocation of the new dam construction.  Return back the boat and continue sailing.

Day 09   Yangtze River Cruise                                        (B/L/D)

Sailing into the 1^st Qutang Gorge and the 2^nd Wu Gorge.  Shore excursion at Shennong Stream, change to the small boat and sail deep into the fabled Three Lesser Gorge of 3 hours exploration.  After get to the upstream change to a small sampan pulling up by man tracker on bubbles water to the ethnic villages.  Return back to the boat sail through the huge Three Gorges Dam.

Day 10   Yichang – Shanghai                                           (B/L)

Chinese lunch onboard before disembarkation. Disembarkation at Yichang then fly to Shanghai. Meet and transfer to hotel.

Day 11   Shanghai                                                               (B/L/D)

Full day sightseeing tour including Yu Garden – built 400 years ago, a famous private garden with architectures of Ming & Qing dynasties.  After lunch visit Shanghai Museum, the Bund and Xintiandi District.  Enjoy the famous Shanghai Acrobatic Show with dinner.

Day 12   Shanghai – Suzhou - Shanghai                               (B/L)

Morning excursion to Suzhou. Visit garden of Net Master, Lingering Garden, the Grand Canal, Silk spinning factory and the local market. Return to Shanghai in the later afternoon.

Day 13   Shanghai – Canada                                             (B)

Leisure and departure transfer to airport for homeward flight.  End of tour.

• Return economy class air ticket from Vancouver to Beijing, return from Shanghai with Japan Airlines
• Domestic air tickets in China, Beijing – Xian – Chongqing // Yichang – Shanghai (luggage allowance – 20kg per passenger)

     Beijing – 3 nights at Beijing International Hotel or similar (local 5*)
     Xian – 2 nights at Jian Guo Hotel or similar (local 4*)
     Cruise – 3 nights at MV President No. 1 (standard balcony cabin)
