Day 01                    Canada – Hong Kong
Depart Canada to Bangkok via Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific Airways. 

Day 02                    Hong Kong – Bangkok                
Upon arrival in Bangkok, meet and transfer to the hotel.  Rest of the day free for leisure.

Day 03                    Bangkok                                                                (B)
Bangkok city tour in the morning, free for leisure in the afternoon.

Day 04                    Bangkok – Luang Prabang                                   (B/L)
Morning fly to Luang Prabang and starts for the city tour – In 1995 UNESCO voted Luang Prabang as a World Heritage City.  After lunch visit the National Museum, climb Vat Phousi Hill for an outstanding view over the city.  Continue to visit Vat Visoun, That Makmo, Vat Aham.  Sunset at Vat Prabaht Tai located along the Mekong River.

Day 05                    Luang Prabang                                                      (B/L)
Visit Vat Xieng Thong temple. The main sanctuary represents the classic Luang Prabang temple architecture with roofs that sweep low to the ground. Then board a traditional boat for a trip upstream the Mekong River to visit the famous caves of Pak Ou housing thousands of statues representing Lord Buddha. Picnic lunch at a bamboo cottage. Return to Luang Prabang by boat and continue by car to visit Ban Xang Khong, a weaving village where traditional Sa paper is also produced.

Day 06                    Luang Prabang                                                      (B/L)
Morning transfer to boat pier and board a riverboat for trip down the Mekong River.  Visit the pottery village of Ban Chan, then down to the Lao Loum Village of Ban Sing, where you will continue by road to the Khuang Xi Waterfalls, the waterfalls tumble over multi-tiered limestone formations into cool, clear pools ideal for swimming and relaxation.  Picnic lunch nearby the waterfalls.  Drive back to Luang Prabang, with the reminder of the afternoon free to explore the Night Bazaar.

Day 07                    Luang Prabang – Vientiane                                  (B/L)
Early morning (around 5:00AM) to witness the age-old tradition of alms giving and visit Morning Market.  After breakfast visit the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre, which exhibits ethnic clothing, household objects, religious artifacts and handicrafts.  After lunch transfer to the airport for flight to Vientiane.  Upon arrival, transfer and check-in at hotel.  Afternoon visit Vat Sisaket, the oldest original temple in Vientiane. Nearby is Ho Phra Keo, once the royal temple of Lao monarchy, built in 1565. One of the most photographed images of Vientiane is Patousay, the victory gate also known as Anousavari. Another famous Vientiane landmark is the That Luang Stupa. King Sethtathirat built this great sacred sputa, considered the national symbol.

Day 08                    Vientiane – Hanoi                                                  (B)
Breakfast at the hotel.  If time permits, visit the Morning Market, known for its superior silk weaving, metal work, and woodcarving.  Then transfer to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Meet on arrival at Hanoi and transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 09                    Hanoi – Halong Bay                                              (B/L)
We visit Ho Chi Minh’s former residence and mausoleum (the Mausoleum closed during October – November), the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature and enjoy a cyclo ride through the old quarter past the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son temple to a local restaurant for lunch.  Visit the History Museum and drive to Halong Bay (165 km east of Hanoi), a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty, more than 1,500 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.

Day 10                   Halong Bay – Hanoi                                               (B/l)
Enjoy a 4 hours boat trip through Halong Bay with a fresh seafood lunch served on board. Cruise around the islands, relaxing and swimming (if weather permits) before returning to Hanoi. Evening attend a performance of water puppetry.

Day 11                    Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An                                      (B/-/D)
Transfer to airport for flight to Danang in the early afternoon.  From Danang we drive a short distance south past famous China Beach into the enchanting town of Hoi An. Take a walking tour to discover Hoi An, the UNESCO World Heritage listed Ancient town, visiting 300 year old Tan Ky and Phuc Kien houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An market.

Day 12                    Hoi An – Danang – Hue                                         (B/L)
After breakfast drive to visit Marble Mountains with lunch at local restaurant and then transfer to Hue, over the most spectacular Hai Van Pass and onto Vietnam’s former imperial capital and charming town set on the banks of the Perfume River.  Overnight in Hue.

Day 13                    Hue – Ho Chi Minh                                                 (B/L)
Boat trip on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and then transfer to visit Imperial Citadel of Hue, Dong Ba market.  Lunch at local restaurant and then continue to visit Tu Duc mausoleum.  Transfer to Phu Bai airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City for overnight.

Day 14                    Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh       (B/L)
Morning drive to Cu Chi district to visit the underground tunnels at Cu Chi. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels. You have the chance to crawl through this system of tunnels before returning to Saigon for Lunch. Afternoon walking tour start from the Saigon River past the Opera House, Town Hall & Notre Dame Cathedral. Visit Reunification Palace (museum) and the famous Ben Thanh Market.

Day 15                    Ho Chi Minh – Phnom Penh                                    (B/L)
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the airport and fly to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in and lunch. Afternoon Phnom Penh city tour including Victory Monument and the National Museum which contains a collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures - throughout the ages. Visit the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. End your afternoon with the visit of the Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake, from where you can enjoy views over the tree-lined avenues of Phnom Penh during sunset.

Day 16                    Phnom Penh – Siem Reap                                      (B/L)
Transfer to airport and fly to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Morning, visit Victory Gate, the twin temples of Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda, Takeo and Ta Prohm. Continue your tour at Banteay Kdei, surrounded by four concentric walls, Srah Srang, undoubtedly used in the past for ritual bathing and Prasat Kravan temple with its unique brick sculptures. Afternoon, visit the North Gate of Angkor Thom. Continue your tour at Preah Khan temple, built by the King Jayavarman VII and, like Ta Prohm, Visit Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool and representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake, Ta Som, Mebon Oriental, guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable the "Mountain Temple" and state of preservation and Pre Rup until sunset.

Day 17                    Siem Reap                                                                (B/L)
For early birds: Sunrise from Phnom Bakheng, one of the two hills dominating the plain of Angkor, from where you will have a spectacular view of the Western Baray and the surrounding plain. Return to the hotel. After breakfast, visit the most famous of all temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing.  Afternoon, visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom, the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Enjoy the sunset at Angkor Wat.

Day 18                    Siem Reap – Bangkok – Hong Kong  – Canada      (B)
Breakfast at hotel then transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight back to Canada via Bangkok and Hong Kong.
