Day 01 – Kuching
Upon arrival at the Kuching Airport, transfer and check into Hotel. Your noon walking tour of Kuching will take you to visit the Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, the oldest in Sarawak, Jalan Gambier where colourful local markets are located beside the spice shops. View the Astana from the waterfront. Lastly, visit Sarawak Museum, one of the best museums in South East Asia. Overnight.


Day 02 – Kuching – Bako National Park – Kuching
Breakfast. Today we visit the Bako National Park which covers an area of 16 square kilometers of primary forest and wildlife. There are 25 types of vegetation ranging from lush cliff and lowland dipterocarp forests to almost desert-like scrubs on the upper plateau. Among these vegetations are the carnivorous plants of the pitcher, sundews and bladderworts family. The mangrove forest provides a home of the long-nosed or proboscis monkeys (endemic only to Borneo), long-tailed macaques, silver-leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, deer and wild boars. We will go for a jungle walk and enjoy the difference of vegetations that Bako has to offer beside its natural beauty rocks and cliffs. Overnight. (Meal: Breakfast, Lunch)


Day 03 – Kuching – Mulu (by air)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mulu with a transit in Miri. Your accommodation this evening is located in Mulu National Park, one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Overnight. (Meal: Breakfast, Dinner)

Kuching – Miri MH2802 @ 0700 – 0800 hrs and Miri - Mulu on MH3255 @ 1450 – 1520 hrs


Day 04 – Mulu
After breakfast, transfer by longboat to explore the Wind Cave and Clearwater Cave and then enjoy a picnic lunch beside the beautiful clear water spring. Swim and relax before returning downriver to the Park Headquarters. Continue with an interesting walk on the raised plank walk through peat swamp forest to the Deer Cave, reputed to be the largest unmapped cave passage. Visit Lang cave, which houses some beautiful cave formations. If weather permits, be mesmerized by a natural phenomenon at the mouth of the cave in the late evening. Overnight. (Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)


Day 05 – Mulu – Kota Kinabalu (by air)
Breakfast. Morning transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to your hotel on arrival. Free at leisure. (Meals: Breakfast)
Recommended flight : Mulu – Kota Kinabalu MH 3254 @ 1540/1730 hrs with a 25 minutes stopover in Miri.


Day 06 – Kota Kinabalu – Kudat (tip of Borneo)
Our visit today will take us to Kota Belud, home to the Cowboys of the East, the Bajau. Normally it is a small sleepy town except during the native market day every Sunday. From here, we continue to visit a Rungus longhouse. The Rungus native are fascinating and friendly people, famed for their beads and basket weaving handicraft. Another half hour drive you will get to enjoy the spectacular sunset at the northern most tip of Borneo, overlooking the South China Sea with a glass of wine. Another 20 minutes drive we will check into the Kudat Marina Resort, the only resort with beautiful overlooking landscape and waterfront in Kudat. Refresh, Free and Easy. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight Kudat Golf and Marina Resort. (Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 07 – Kudat – Kota Kinabalu
After breakfast, depart for Kota Kinabalu. We will make a stop along the way to a gong making village. Gongs are the major Rungus tribe musical instruments. We also stop is at a village to see how the local honey is produced. Rest of the day in Kota Kinabalu is at leisure. Overnight.

Day 08 – Kota Kinabalu – Mangrove Cruise
Breakfast in the hotel. Your afternoon mangrove cruise begins with a 02 hours overland journey to a village called Garama or Klias. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and its relaxing serenity and if you are lucky, you will get to see the natural habitat living in the wild. Catch the sight of the bizarre proboscis monkey “ Nasalis Lavatus” or the fireflies in their natural habitat. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before returning to Kota Kinabalu. Overnight. (Meal: Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 09 – Kota Kinabalu – Kinabalu National Park – Kota Kinabalu
After breakfast depart for a full day tour of the Kinabalu National Park where the highest mountain in South East Asia is located. Kinabalu Park 1,623 metre above sea level & with an area of 754 sq. km is about two hours drive from Kota Kinabalu. It is botanist’s paradise, home to over a 1500 species of orchids, 330 species of birds, 26 species of rhododendrons, fern, pitcher plants & others. The tour includes a visit to the exhibition hall and a mountain garden before proceeding for a guided nature trail. Return to Kota Kinabalu. Transfer to the airport.
